About the business and the brief
Enviroom operates at the intersection of sustainability and commercial products. It's a position that demands extra from the brand: customers are often well-informed, critical and quick to dismiss generic sustainability claims. The brief from Enviroom was to build a digital platform that is both genuinely credible and drives business. Hive Creatives owned strategy, brand work, web design, development, copy and technical SEO - with the goal of creating an experience where the sustainability story and the product experience reinforce each other rather than compete.
Challenge
Communicating sustainability without falling into greenwashing is an editorial and visual balancing act. Say too little - you lose credibility. Say too much - it becomes suspicious. At the same time the site needed to drive concrete business value: showcase products, package offers and bring in enquiries. Add requirements for an information architecture that handles continued range growth, fast load times, mobile-first UX, on-page SEO and a visual identity that matches the brand's DNA - and the complexity becomes clear.
Solution
We built a new website where the sustainability story is concrete, measurable and tied to the product. Material choices, processes and certifications are lifted where they're relevant - not as a separate sustainability chapter but as a natural part of every product surface. The design is clean, tactile and elevates materiality through large image areas and calm typography. The information architecture is prepared for continued growth: new categories and product lines can be added without the structure losing focus. Technically we delivered a fast, mobile-first site with optimised Core Web Vitals, schema.org markup and on-page SEO built into every template.
