About the business and the brief
Walborg Coworking launched as a new coworking space in Gothenburg with a clear physical identity - interior, location, atmosphere - but no digital presence. The brief was to create a website that translates the physical feeling of the space into a digital experience: warm, professional, welcoming. The site should attract new members, showcase the facility and make it easy to book a visit or purchase a membership plan - from day one. Hive Creatives owned strategy, brand anchoring, web design, development and copy.
Challenge
Translating a physical feeling into a digital experience is one of the hardest briefs in web design. A coworking space lives in its atmosphere - the light, the materials, the people - and all of that tends to flatten out on a screen. At the same time the site needed to work as a conversion tool from launch day: visitors should not just admire the space, they should book a visit or buy a membership. Add requirements for local SEO in Gothenburg, mobile-first UX (most visits from social media/Instagram), plan and pricing presentation, image-heavy design without slow load times and a professional tone that still feels personal - and the complexity becomes clear.
Solution
We built an image-driven website where the space is the hero. Large, warm photography, calm typography and a clear colour palette that matches the physical interior. The information architecture is simple: different membership plans are presented visually with clear pricing, the space is shown through image galleries and virtual tour functionality, and the booking/conversion flow is built into every surface. Technically the site is optimised for fast load times despite heavy imagery, with lazy loading and optimised image formats. Local SEO targets Gothenburg coworking keywords, and the CMS structure makes it easy to add events, member stories and new plans.Translating a physical feeling into a digital experience is one of the hardest briefs in web design.
